Candy Bowl / Steadman’s Portmore has been around for over 20 years. This food spot is the best in Portmore if you’re looking for a nice home-cooked meal. Candy bowl/Steadman has fast service and reasonable prices.
The menu is great with food for everyone. From chicken, Curry goat (mutton), brown stew fish, cow foot and oxtail just to name a few (my mouth is watering just thinking), Candy bowl has got you locked. So go on over, take a ticket, listen to really authentic Jamaicans talk and enjoy the environment.

6 months agoSo nice I had to go twice lol I grew up eating steadman food and everytime I visit Jamaica I always have to go! I had the jerk chicken and the fry chicken! Very flavorful and you get a lot of food for the price! $1000 for the large. Food always taste fresh. Food didn’t even make it home because I sat and ate it in the car.

6 months agoI've been eating at Steadman's since I was a child, and the food is still good. It's take-out only and works on a quick and efficient ticket system. Parking is tight during peak times as only about 8 vehicles can comfortably fit, but you can also park on the road and walk in. Definitely recommend.

4 years agoStandard menu consisting of Fish, Fried Chicken, Cowfoot, Curry Goat etc. The quality service and food is worth the price. The ticket system implemented makes it much easier to be served and the wait more comfortable.
